Ultimate Frisbee is a self-officiated sport, meaning that during the game, players resolve conflict through conversation. Ultimate Peace is an organization that brings together youth from Palestinian, Arab Israeli, and Israeli Jewish communities to play Ultimate Frisbee and foster teamwork and friendship among youth who would otherwise never meet due to the regional conflict. To raise money for this incredible organization, we are putting on an Ultimate festival called Bid for Peace. On June 28th, at the National Sports Center in Blaine, MN, there will be a hat Ultimate tournament followed by two highly competitive showcase Ultimate games. First, Pop, Minnesota's top women's club team, will face off against StarBirdThrust, a combination of the women from the best mixed club teams in Minnesota. Then the MN Wind Chill, Minnesota's professional Ultimate team, will face SubZero, the top men's club team in Minnesota. Following the showcase games, we will all head to Biff's Sports Bar & Grill where a percentage of food and drink purchases will be donated to Ultimate Peace.
